“And when he tried to steal our sunlight, he crossed that line between everyday villainy and cartoonish super-villainy.” – Mr. Smithers
“Bah!  He was a rank amateur compared to Dr. Colossus!” – Dr. Colossus

FNLogo For further proof that Mittens’ ill timed bashing of Obama and the State Department isn’t working well, the FOX writeup of it is buried as the third from bottom bullet point on their main page:

Romney Rips and Trips

The actual story does manage to omit the fact that the statement from the embassy in Cairo took place before the attack . . .

The U.S. Embassy in Cairo at first issued a statement saying, in part, that it condemns "the continuing efforts by misguided individuals to hurt the religious feelings of Muslims — as we condemn efforts to offend believers of all religions."

The Romney campaign issued a statement overnight calling that response "disgraceful," prompting criticism from the president’s campaign.

. . . but you can tell their heart really isn’t in it.

FoxNationLogo Even the nationalists are tepid on this one:

Politics (Question Mark)

Only two stories?  For shame.

DailyCallerLogo Ah, now we’re talking:

First Amender, Is That An Insult

Murdoch and company are okay throwing food, but nothing that’ll make too much of a mess.  The kids table is willing to just up and toss the gravy boat.

NPRlogo Dicktards:

Can Marriage Save Single Mothers From Poverty?

This is the second fucking paragraph:

For many conservatives, the answer is simple: Promote marriages as a balm for poverty. Last week, the Heritage Foundation issued a report

If you guessed that the next quote is from the hapless band of malingerers at the Brookings Institute, you are correct and win absolutely nothing.  NPR, this is why we don’t care if the wingnuts defund you.  You do the same shit everyone else does, calling up a few “think tank” types for nice quotes and calling it news.  It isn’t.  Go do some real reporting and stop buying into idiotic right wing framing.
